Lois Davidson is the owner of LD Bookeeping Services.

A little about my background.  Having studied bookkeeping during my school years, I then worked for many varied and mixed businesses in their accounts department.  My real life experience into the world of small business operations began when my partner and I developed an aerial agricultural business  across 3 locations in rural and remote New South Wales.  It was during this time I went up a very steep learning curve of understanding small business operations  – Systems and Processes, Staff Management, Software Programs, Client Relationships, Accounting,  Compliance etc etc.

Never afraid of a challenge, I also undertook to learn new skills during this time that assisted in the business operations.  I acquired a Private Pilots Licence, Forklift Licence and a Bulk Dangerous Goods Drivers Licence and I became a Bureau of Meterology Weather Observer as well as an Aviation refueller.

On selling down the business and returning to Brisbane, after 20 years of remote living, I had a desire to utilise my acquired skills and assist other small business owners with their bookkeeping and BAS  services.  I became a registered  BAS Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board and a Practising member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers Association.  I am a MYOB partner, a Certified Pro Advisor for QuickBooks, and a Certified Xero Advisor who uses the cloud to work remotely on clients datafiles.
